• Standard Contract (6 files)

In this section you will find a range of relevant contract templates for sub-consultants and employees–both Indonesian nationals and international staff–together with a range of frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to SMEC’s employment engagement policies and practices.

  • Report Template (6 files)

Following approval and commencement of an approved activity, a contractor will be required to meet a number of reporting requirements to IndII through to project completion. Your technical manager will be able to answer questions and provide assistance in meeting IndII’s requirements.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (1 files)

IndII needs to ensure that all activities funded with Australian aid funds are both effective (i.e., they are delivering progress towards their objectives) and efficient (i.e., delivering quality, providing value for money and continuously improving). The monitoring and evaluation (M&E) process should provide information for day to day management needs and also generate evidence that the activity is contributing to the sector, country or regional strategy of which it forms part. The M&E Plan provides information to consultants to assist them in meeting IndII’s requirements.

  • Style Guide (1 files)

IndII has prepared an in-house Style Guide to assist in the production of written material to be published under IndII’s auspices. Authors and editors are requested to follow the conventions shown in the Style Guide. A list of common acronyms used by IndII has also been developed to assist authors and editors.

  • Activity Templates (8 files)

All agencies seeking IndII support must complete an Initial Activity Request (IAR). Although this is only a one-page document, if it is clear and understandable, the second stage – the Activity Proposal (AP) – can sometimes be left out, and so an agency applying for support might be able to go straight to filling in an Activity Design (AD).

  • Cross Cutting (14 files)

A range of operational policies and procedures guide the operations of IndII. Under the Gender Strategy and Plan, IndII personnel and contractors are required to integrate gender into their work in order to better achieve the strategic objectives. The other policy of interest to consultants is The Environmental Compliance Strategy and Environmental Management Process (ECOMAP). ECOMAP aims to ensure that there is an appropriate integration of environmental awareness into all activities undertaken by IndII and its consultants.
