The Indonesia infrastructure Initiative (IndII),a A$235 million Australian Government (GoA) program to promote sustainable economic growth, supported the Government of Indonesia (GoI) to enhance infrastructure policy, planning and investment. IndII Phase I began in July 2008, followed by second Phase which operated between 2011 and June 2015. A number of extensions to IndII’s operations saw technical programming continue up to April/May 2017, prior to the completion of the facility’s operations in June 2017.
Since 2008, IndII has worked across a broad range of infrastructure sectors and issues. During Phase II, which is the focus of this report, IndII programming was consolidated to focus primarily on two sectors: water and sanitation (Watsan) and transport, as well as some cross-sectoral issues covering infrastructure finance and governance.
