Procurement Plan
Update: July 2012
Notes
The IndII Annual Procurement Plan is a statement of IndII's planned procurements for the forthcoming financial year. It consists of a short strategic procurement outlook for IndII. However, all Planned Procurements are subject to revision or cancellation. Information about Planned Procurements is provided for planning purposes only and it does not represent a solicitation or constitute a request for proposal, nor is it a commitment by IndII to proceed to procurement.
The information contained in this Plan is based on current known intentions for IndII’s forward program. As a highly responsive, demand-driven Facility not all procurement requirements are predictable well in advance, hence new procurements may become necessary at relatively short notice. Wherever possible, such procurements will be added to this Plan. Therefore regular reference to this Plan is recommended.

IndII’s procurement process closely follows the principles of the Australian Government’s Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines (CPGs). In accordance with the CPGs and SMEC International’s contract with AusAID, we follow the following procurement methods:
Consultant Pool – this is a multi-use list that has been competitively tendered in accordance with the CPGs
Select tender – a select group of suppliers drawn from either the Consultant Pool or a list of suppliers that have responded to a request for expressions of interest
Open tender – an open and competitive tender process that is either advertised internationally or nationally (in Indonesia) based on a set of determinants including purpose, price and value for money
Direct Appointment – the direct appointment of an individual consultant or firm based on a set of determinants including purpose, price and value for money
Advertisement – usually used by advertising nationally or internationally for individuals to fill long-term advisory positions
